01Overview

Tropical House 1 is an expansion pack for VPS Avenger, the wavetable synthesizer by Vengeance Sound. The pack is built around the sound of tropical house, a style of dance music with summery, melodic textures. Developed by genre specialist Mirko Ruta, the collection covers the core palette of the style, from plucks and bells to pads, basslines and drums. Each part of the expansion is ready to load and adjust inside Avenger, so producers can start a track from a finished sound and shape it further.

What Is Inside the Tropical House 1 Preset Pack

The expansion contains 134 Avenger presets. Its building blocks include 10 new drumkits and 10 new drum sequences for rhythm programming, along with 58 new multisamples for pitched sounds.

For sound design, the pack adds 19 new osc-shapes and 23 new wavetables. These give you additional raw material to edit when you want to build your own patches from the included starting points.

The developer describes the collection as covering arps, mellow plucks and bells, lush pads, sweet basslines and tight drums. Those categories map to the tropical house sound the pack targets.

Who Should Use This Avenger Expansion

Tropical House 1 suits producers making tropical house or other summer-oriented dance music who already use VPS Avenger. Because the presets span leads, basses, pads and drums, the pack can serve as a complete starting kit for a track in this style.

It is also useful for producers who want a quick reference for how this genre's sounds are typically constructed inside Avenger. Anyone who wants to learn from finished presets can load them, study the settings and adapt them to their own material.

Note that the pack is an expansion. It requires VPS Avenger v1.8.0 or later to run.
