Trance Invasion is a preset expansion for VPS Avenger by Vengeance Sound. It adds 128 trance presets along with new drumkits, arp patterns, multisamples, oscillator shapes and wavetables.
Trance Invasion is an expansion pack for VPS Avenger, the synthesizer by Vengeance Sound. It contains 128 presets made by sound designer Adam Szabo, aimed at trance production. The sounds cover pads, plucks, arpeggios, leads, basslines, beats and effects. The expansion also adds new building blocks for Avenger, including drumkits and sequences, arp patterns, multisamples, oscillator shapes and wavetables. It requires VPS Avenger v1.8.0 or later.
Trance Invasion focuses on the sounds used in trance tracks. Vengeance Sound describes the set as containing lush pads, plucks and arps, epic leads, and beats and basslines.
The expansion also includes effect presets. These are meant to add uplifting movement and atmosphere to a track.
Because the presets are built on Avenger, you can adjust them with the synth's controls to fit your own arrangement.
Beyond the presets, Trance Invasion adds new material for Avenger. The package includes 16 drumkits and sequences, 58 arp patterns, 52 multisamples, 50 oscillator shapes and 10 wavetables.
These components extend what you can build in Avenger. The new arp patterns and oscillator shapes give you more starting points for rhythmic and timbral ideas, and the extra multisamples and wavetables widen the palette of sound sources.
