01Overview

Trance 1 is the first expansion from Vengeance Sound built specifically for trance production. It works inside VPS Avenger and gives producers a ready-made set of sounds across the core layers of a trance track. The pack is designed by sound designer Manuel Schleis, who the developer says returned to his trance roots for this release. The content covers the rhythm, melody and texture elements that trance arrangements depend on, so you can start from a finished patch rather than building every layer from scratch.

What Is Inside the Trance 1 Presets

The expansion adds 140 Avenger presets. Most of the pack is built from the tools that shape a trance groove: 17 new drumkits and 17 new drum sequences for the rhythm, and 28 new arp patterns for the rolling motion that drives many trance leads and basslines.

For sound sources, the pack includes 50 new multisamples, 87 new osc-shapes and 12 new wavetables, along with 2 new granular samples. These give you raw material for pads, leads and basses that you can reshape with Avenger's own modulation and filtering.

Developers Vengeance Sound describe the set as covering trance from different eras, so you can pick a classic or a more modern sound within the same pack.

Using Trance 1 in Your Workflow

Because the presets are organized as Avenger presets, you load them directly into the synth and edit them with the controls you already use. A drum sequence can be paired with an arp pattern and a wavetable-based patch to build a complete trance section quickly.

The layered content also makes the pack useful as a reference. Loading a preset and inspecting how its oscillator shape, arp pattern and drum sequence interact can show you how the sounds were constructed, which helps when you design your own patches.

The pack suits producers who already work with Avenger and want fast starting points for trance projects.
