Texture Explorer is a sound library for Triaz from developer Wave Alchemy. Wave Alchemy describes the collection as sitting between pure sine waves and bursts of white noise, with rhythms that favor structure over swing. The package is built around cold, mechanical drum sounds meant for loud, high-intensity listening. It loads into Triaz and works with the free Triaz Player, so producers can use it with either version of the instrument.
Wave Alchemy says the drums are stripped down to their core, with rigid timing that leaves out the swing and syncopation common in House and Techno. The developer frames the sound as cold, mechanical and surgical, aimed at producers who want hard, abstract percussion.
