Breakstation (Triaz Expansion) is a drum and preset expansion for Wave Alchemy's Triaz, built around the sound of classic 90s Jungle and Drum & Bass. It includes 262 drum samples and 81 Triaz presets.
Breakstation is an expansion pack from Wave Alchemy for Triaz and the free Triaz Player. It focuses on the raw energy of 90s Jungle and Drum & Bass, with thunderous kicks, rough snares, rolling hi-hats and heavy percussion. Because it loads into Triaz, the drums and presets can be layered, processed, mixed and refined inside the instrument, and beats can be exported as audio or MIDI.
Wave Alchemy describes Breakstation as a collection of drums and presets that capture the grit of classic 90s Jungle and Drum & Bass. The pack contains 262 drum samples, covering kicks, snares, rolling hi-hats and percussion.
The samples are designed for building break-driven rhythms. The developer describes the rhythms as infectious and built around thunderous low end, which suits producers working in the old skool style.
Breakstation includes 81 Triaz presets. Loading them into Triaz gives you control over each element of the drums, so you can layer sounds, add processing and adjust the mix.
When the beat is finished, you can export it as audio or as MIDI with a single click. The pack also ships with all samples as standard WAV files, so the drums can be used in other DAWs or samplers.
