Tech House 1 is built for producers working in tech house and related house styles inside VPS Avenger. The expansion contains 136 presets spread across drum material, multisampled sources, oscillator shapes and wavetables. Vengeance Sound says the collection was developed with genre specialist Andy Hinz, who used Avenger to create the sounds. The pack is intended to give you a ready starting point for both the rhythm and the tonal layers of a track.

What Is Inside the Tech House Sound Pack

The pack includes 34 new drumkits and 34 new drum sequences, giving you a large set of rhythmic starting points for groove-driven house tracks. It also adds 89 new multisamples and 36 new osc-shapes, which expand the tonal palette available within Avenger. Six new wavetables round out the content.

Vengeance Sound describes the collection as covering smooth and tight drumkits, low sub basses, vocal chops, analog-style arps and sequences, stabs, chords, leads, pads and effects. The developer says the presets are ready to use and mixed so you can spend more time on arrangement.

Using the Expansion in Avenger

Tech House 1 runs inside VPS Avenger, so it is a preset expansion rather than a standalone instrument. You will need VPS Avenger v1.8.0 or later to use the expansion.

Because the drum material and the synth sounds come in the same pack, you can build a full tech house arrangement from one source. The drum sequences give you a rhythmic base, and the multisamples, osc-shapes and wavetables can be used to shape the tonal layers around it.
