03In depth

Dark techno drum sounds and character

Wave Alchemy describes Overshot as a set of modular percussion with a distinctly dark tone. The drum set mixes twisted analog-style hits with unearthly effects, dramatic strikes and deep drones, so the material works for atmospheric and theatrical arrangements as well as straight club rhythms.

The developer frames the pack around a palette of distortion, melody and evocative soundscapes, giving producers a range from gritty percussion to more open, cinematic textures.

Working with the presets in Triaz

Loading Overshot into Triaz gives you full access to the drum layers. You can layer, process, mix and refine each preset to suit your arrangement.

When you are finished, you can export your beats as audio or MIDI with a single click, which makes it straightforward to move ideas into your DAW or sampler.
