Sound Design and Character in the Melodic Techno 1 Presets

The core of the pack is 142 Avenger presets. The developer describes them as fat, vintage analog-style sounds with randomized modulations and euphoric melodies, which suit the leads, pads and basses common in melodic techno.

The expansion also includes 40 oscillator shapes and 6 wavetables. These give you raw material to build your own sounds inside Avenger when the included presets are a starting point rather than a final sound.

Arps, Drums and Samples in Melodic Techno 1

For rhythmic material, the pack includes 148 arp patterns, which can drive melodic lines and polyrhythmic movement. Sequencing support comes from 30 drum sequences that pair with 30 drum kits.

The sample content covers 100 granular samples and 40 multi-samples. The developer also highlights a collection of female, male and Arabic vocal phrases, which can be used as melodic or textural elements in a track.
