Vengeance Sound built this expansion as a tribute to the TB-303, a synth that has shaped acid house, rave, trance, chillout, techno and modern EDM. The developer says three sound designers, Manuel Schleis, Andy Hinz and Alan Morris, worked on the pack to cover sounds from the 1980s through modern production. The content spans sequences built with the internal arp, distortion effect chains, playable one-shots, live-recorded multiloops of distortion boxes, and experimental pad sounds imagined as if the 303 were polyphonic.

The expansion is organized around the TB-303 sound across several eras. According to Vengeance Sound, the presets and sample content trace the 303 from its classic 1980s acid character through the 1990s and 2000s into more modern territory.

The pack includes carefully recreated distortion effect chains and live-recorded multiloops taken from silver boxes and well-known distortion units. These give producers ready-made grit to layer or to use as a starting point for their own processing.
