Sound and Character of the KorgBlend Chorus
Sinevibes describes KorgBlend as four fully independent layers, two per channel, each modulated by parabolically shaped oscillators with proportional phase offsets. Pairs of layers receive their own feedback loop, and the channels share a controlled amount of crosstalk. Together these create density and a smooth, spacious stereo image.
The parameter range is wide. At gentle settings the effect detunes and thickens a sound. At extreme settings it moves into harsh, dissonant territory, which suits experimental sound design as much as classic ensemble tones.
