Italo Disco 3 is the third volume in Vengeance Sound's Italo Disco series, following volumes 1 and 2. Developer Vengeance Sound says the collection revives the genre's 80s and 90s sounds and that the sounds were built using many of the original hardware units used at the time. The pack is designed for producers who want retro Italo Disco textures inside Avenger. It requires the latest version of VPS Avenger to run.
The expansion contains 155 Avenger presets built from several kinds of raw material. There are 23 new drumkits and 23 new drum sequences, which cover the percussion and drum programming typical of the genre.
The pack also adds 43 new wavetables, 215 new multisamples and 62 new oscillator shapes for sound design. Nine new multiloops and guitar sounds and 84 new arpeggio patterns round out the collection for melodic and rhythmic work.
Italo Disco 3 is an expansion for VPS Avenger, so it is not a standalone instrument. Avenger's sound engine and interface are used to load and play the presets.
