01Overview

Hip Hop 3 is the third volume in Vengeance Sound's Hip Hop expansion series for VPS Avenger. It is built around ready-to-use material for modern hip hop, and the developer says it covers rap, drill and trap as well. The pack combines Avenger presets with drum material, sampled sound sources and wavetables, so producers can start from a sound or a full drum pattern. It requires Avenger to run.

03In depth

What is inside the Hip Hop 3 expansion

The expansion includes 134 Avenger presets, which form the core of the pack. Around them is a set of supporting material: 24 drum kits and 24 drum sequences for building beats, and 14 new multiloops and vocals for adding texture and hooks to a track.

For sound design, the pack adds 124 new multisamples, 10 new wavetables, 13 granular samples and 21 new osc-shapes. These give you raw sources to shape inside Avenger rather than only finished patches.

Who the pack is for

Hip Hop 3 is aimed at producers working in hip hop and related styles who use VPS Avenger as their synth. Because the presets, drum kits and loops come together in one pack, it can speed up the early stage of a beat, whether you are starting from scratch or adding to an existing project.

The pack requires VPS Avenger v1.8.6 or later, so check your Avenger version before buying or installing.
