Happy Hardcore - VPS Avenger Expansion is a preset expansion pack for VPS Avenger by Vengeance Sound. It adds 135 presets along with new drumkits, multiloops, multisamples, osc-shapes and wavetables for the Happy Hardcore genre.
Happy Hardcore - VPS Avenger Expansion is built around Happy Hardcore, a genre that grew out of HandsUp and Hardcore and is known for high tempos and energetic, playful arrangements. The pack is made for VPS Avenger and requires the latest version of Avenger to run. Its contents cover the core sounds of the style, from bells and arpeggios to fat leads, reverse basslines and vocal hooks, and it draws on the Multiloop function introduced in Avenger 1.5.
Sound designer Stefan Endemann developed the presets, which cover bells, arpeggios, fat leads, pumping reverse basslines and complete vocal hooks. Vengeance Sound says the vocal material includes Asian-style hooks.
The expansion adds 57 new multisamples, 58 new osc-shapes and 12 new wavetables, giving you raw material to reshape into your own patches. The 14 granular and 6 vocal multiloops take advantage of the Multiloop function in Avenger.
Beyond the 135 presets, the pack includes 21 new drumkits and sequences for fast beats and breaks. These suit the high BPM tempos the genre is built on.
The Multiloop material, both granular and vocal, gives you additional clips to layer or chop into arrangements. Because the pack is an expansion for Avenger, all of its contents load into the synth itself.
