What Is Inside the HandsUp Avenger Presets

The pack contains 136 Avenger presets. Vengeance Sound lists 35 new drumkits, 36 new drum sequences and 47 new arp patterns, so the expansion covers rhythm as well as sound design.

The sound material is also broad: 26 new granular samples, 63 new multisamples, 56 new osc-shapes and 29 new wavetables. Together these give Avenger a fresh set of sources to shape with the synth's own tools.

The developer says the leads, basses, pads and arps are still used in modern EDM and pop, so the sounds can be applied outside the original genre.

Using HandsUp Sounds in EDM and Pop Tracks

Manuel Schleis, who created the pack, had more than 300 releases on vinyl and CD. Vengeance Sound says this expansion returns to his musical roots and draws on the style that shaped the genre, with its first sample pack, Essential Clubsounds 1.

For producers working in EDM or pop, the classic HandsUp character can be added to a track through the leads, basses and arps. The drumkits and sequences offer ready-made rhythmic starting points.
