03In depth

What Is Inside the Future Chill Preset Pack

The expansion contains 137 Avenger presets, spread across several sound-design resources. There are 13 new drumkits and 13 new drum sequences, which give rhythm patterns that can be used alongside the synth sounds. Avenger's oscillator shapes are extended by 50 new osc-shapes, and 26 new multisamples add pitched instrument material. The pack also adds 12 new wavetables for building custom timbres in the synth.

Because the resources cover drums, wavetables and multisamples together, the pack works as a complete starting point for a track rather than only a set of pads or leads.

Sound Character and Intended Styles

Vengeance Sound describes the presets as covering two moods: bright, chilled textures for Future Chill and House, and darker, cinematic sounds for trailers and trance. Solidtrax, the designer duo behind the pack, positions it as a debut expansion for Avenger focused on modern electronic music.

The styles named in the product information are Future Chill, Deep House, Chill House, Progressive, Minimal and Electronica, with the darker cinematic material pointed at modern trailers and trance productions.
