Pearl Reference kit and cymbal selection

The core of the pack is a Pearl Reference kit with a 22x16" kick, a 14x5" snare and four toms ranging from 10x8" to 16x16". Pearl engineers the Reference Series drums individually, and the developer notes that each drum has its own shell thickness and wood combination.

The cymbal set includes a 13" Paiste Heavy Hihat, a 17" Paiste Signature Fast Crash, 18" and 22" Sabian crashes, and a 22" Sabian Artisan Light Ride. A LP Medium Cowbell rounds out the extras.

Mix-ready presets for funk grooves

The 30 presets are designed by studio engineers and cover clean, tight, roomy and processed sounds. Because they are mix-ready, you can load one and start arranging without building a sound from scratch.

Each preset can be used as-is or edited. If you want starting points for beats, the developer points to its Funk MIDIpaks, which contain professionally played patterns you can drop into your own productions.
