03In depth

What Is Inside the Ambition 2 Preset Pack

The pack contains 140 Avenger presets. Vengeance Sound says the presets cover trance staples including rolling basslines, strings, pads, plucks, effects, and leads.

The contents go beyond presets. There are 84 arp patterns, 62 multi-samples, 47 oscillator shapes, and 14 drum kits with sequences. Sound-design material includes 11 wavetables, 7 granular samples, and 5 multi-loops.

These raw assets let you build your own patches from the pack's components, not just load finished sounds.

Who Ambition 2 Is For

Ambition 2 is aimed at trance producers who want ready-made starting points in a single pack. The developer says the arp patterns and chord progressions are useful for building trance arrangements quickly.

The pack can be used alongside Ambition volume 1 or on its own, so it suits producers who already own the earlier collection as well as those starting fresh.

Because the sounds are presets for Avenger, the pack is most useful to people who already use that synthesizer in their workflow.
