Frequency Shifting and Modulation Modes
Wave Shifter covers three core processing modes. Frequency shifting moves every partial in the input by the same amount, which produces inharmonic, metallic results. Ring modulation and amp modulation offer related but distinct behavior for tremolo-style and sideband effects.
The frequency controls are where most of the shaping happens. BPM sync locks the shift rate to tempo, tuned note values set pitch-based shifts, and stereo spread widens the effect across the field. Feedback and time controls then add resonances, comb filtering, and cascading delays.
