Vintage Strings 2 at the Core of the Bundle

Vintage Strings 2 is presented as a sequel to the library Vintage Strings. It emulates string sections used in 1960s and 1970s R&B, soul and pop, with two cellos, two violas, three violins and four violins as separate groups, plus a solo violin for lead lines.

The library includes nine-piece and twelve-piece multi patches. Its Harmonize function lets you set custom chord intervals for each section, so changing the root to a fifth an octave up is a matter of turning a knob. Auto harmonization is included for quick arranging, and the library offers ten articulations.

The package is around 3.8GB uncompressed and integrates with Komplete Kontrol and Maschine.

Horns, Big Band and Country Libraries

Vintage Horns and Vintage Horns 2 cover the horn sections of 1960s and 1970s R&B, funk, soul and jazz. Developer Big Fish Audio says the horn libraries keep the minor imperfections of period recordings rather than aiming for a polished sound. Vintage Horns 2 is a separate library with its own instruments, not a remake.

Vintage Big Band is described as a large collection of over 75 instruments, including brass, woodwinds, keyboards, bass, guitars and drum kits, with arranger tools and multi patches.
