Voices of Gaia: Vocal Instrument Library for Kontakt by Soundiron

The library provides chromatic legato, sustains and staccatos for a selection of common vowels, with round-robin on the short notes. Each singer also has a large set of live performance phrases. Across the library, there are 9,607 melodic and dynamic passages in a range of categories, tempos and root keys.

The phrases can be step-sequenced in real time and adjusted with tempo control, start and end editing, and category and key selection. Vocal SFX such as breaths, laughs and whispers are included for extra realism in a mix.

Beyond the straight vocal sounds, the collection includes 137 drones, ambiences, synth patches and evolving textures. Soundiron describes them as hand-crafted from the raw vocal source, ranging from smooth and celestial to gritty and sinister.

These patches suit layering, underscoring, creative sound design and electronic or hybrid production. An FX rack with 18 effect modules and 119 convolution impulse responses across ten room and space categories gives you control over the final sound.
