Sound Sources and Preset Types

Antidrum Machine offers three preset types, each interacting with the content differently. Dual Layer presets spread every articulation across the key range with two configurable layers. Each layer has sound selection, LFO, filter and sound shaping controls, including volume, attack, offset, release, bass, treble, pitch and panning.

Single Effects presets hold the single-shot effects that did not fit into velocity or round-robin articulations. Ensemble presets spread all articulations across the keys and allow remapping of any articulation to any key. A Random button in the Ensemble mapping window generates new arrangements on the fly.

Performance Tools and Effects

Every preset includes the integrated ARP arpeggiator, with rhythm, direction, swing and randomization options. The Glide feature turns sustaining sounds into a monophonic legato or portamento instrument with adjustable pitch bend speed, and it can add pitch bend to percussive content.

Each LFO offers selectable shapes and targets, with free or tempo-synced speed. Filters offer 12 types and modulation sources such as the sustain pedal and a step sequencer. The FX Rack holds 18 effect modules with configurable routing and chain saving, and 119 convolution reverb impulse responses sorted into ten room and space categories.

05FAQ

Questions, answered

Which operating systems and formats are supported?

The library supports Windows (XP or higher) and macOS (10.10 or higher). It is licensed for the VST, AU and AAX instrument plugin formats when used through Kontakt.

Yes. The library is fully compatible with Komplete Kontrol and all S-Series keyboard controllers, and it has full support for Maschine.

What hardware is recommended?
