Two Sounds: Geist and Outer-Space Glide
The instrument is built around two sounds. The first is Geist, a wobbling, modulated aerophone tone with a moving character that suits eerie passages.
The second is an outer-space glide, which KLANG describes as the typical bright sound of the theremin. It works for pitch slides and sweeping gestures that stand out in a mix.
Because the palette is limited to these two sounds, it is best used as a focused color within a larger arrangement rather than as a full-range synth.
