Sound and Character of the Violin Recordings
The core of this library is a set of very quiet and fragile violin notes. KLANG recorded them and then added a processed halftime layer. The developer describes the result as a noble string tool that is deep and scratchy at the same time.
That combination of delicate source material and a slowed, processed layer places the instrument somewhere between traditional orchestral strings and more textured, sound-design-oriented material. It suits passages where you want a string sound that feels worn and intimate rather than polished and wide.
