Exciter Sound and Circuit Controls
An exciter generates high-frequency content that was not in the original signal. It does this by filtering the input and sending it through a harmonic generator, then blending the result back with the dry signal. Type B lets you shape this process. The input can go through a highpass or bandpass filter, which you can set to 12 or 24 dB per octave slope, with an emphasis control to shape the filter response.
The Color parameter controls the harmonics the generator produces. A switch lets you swap the filter and harmonic generator positions, changing how the effect responds to the signal.
