Tape Models, Tone Styles and Spatial Control
The four tape models set the broad tonal character. Clean keeps the coloration light, Warm and Rich add progressively more body, and Dark emulates the thick sound of slower tape speeds.
The Tone selector adds a second layer of choice with four playback styles: Flat, Master, Studio and Cassette. Each one carries its own EQ curve, compression and saturation behavior, so the same tape model can sound quite different from one style to the next.
Spatial control blends between Crosstalk, a vintage approach for gluing a mono signal together, and Aura, a subtle stereo widening effect based on multitrack tape misalignment and pitch shifts.
