Saturation and Limiting in One Chain
Loc-Ness runs its Crust saturation stage into its Smash limiter in series, so the two stages stack. Crust offers four drive types, each with its own harmonic character, and a Mix control blends the processed signal with the dry signal for parallel processing.
The Attack setting controls how the limiter responds to transients. In Fast mode, Smash reacts immediately. In Slow mode, the initial transient passes through before limiting takes over. Phase lets you keep or invert the wet signal's phase for blending, and Output offers a range of plus or minus 12 dB.
Autogain compensates the level as you push Crust and Smash harder, which helps keep the output level consistent while you audition settings.
