Choir Styles and Sound Character

CHOOIR includes 70 choir styles grouped into categories such as Epic, Ethereal and Suspense, along with over 100 presets. The styles range from rhythmic, stomping shouts to sustained majestic swells and darker sound-designed atmospheres. Holding a key triggers a living choral arrangement rather than a static pad.

The developer says the three master effects, Highlighter, Ambience and Widener, let you move the sound from a cathedral-style setting to a more synthetic, flute-like pad. UJAM's motion and character effects keep the two vocal textures moving.

Two Layers and Workflow Controls

CHOOIR uses two vocal layers that you can shape and blend. The Low Choir covers basses, baritones and tenors, while the High Choir covers altos, sopranos and boys' voices. Each layer can be shaped independently with the Character and Motion FX.

The Crossfade control balances the two layers into one unified ensemble, and the Finisher section lets you adjust the overall sound. Voice groups and articulations are available across the range, from ethereal to percussive.
