01Overview

IRON 2 is UJAM's second version of its Virtual Guitarist instrument, built for producers who need rock guitar parts without a guitarist in the room. Its sample library has been fully re-recorded, and a new instrument mode lets you play your own riffs. The plugin is designed to be usable regardless of guitar skill, so producers with little experience can build tracks quickly while still getting a sound that more experienced musicians can work with.

Sound, Phrases and Stomp Box Effects

IRON 2 covers a range of tones from subtly distorted to heavily aggressive. Its library includes 30 styles with more than 350 phrases, performed by a session guitarist and sampled for this version.

The stomp box section offers 30 pre-amp effect combinations. Because these effects sit before the amp and speaker section, the amp responds dynamically to your input. Wah, delay, chorus and reverb are among the classic effects covered.

For finishing, a dedicated Finisher knob selects from 60 multi-FX chains for post-amp processing, such as ambiences.

Tunings, Doubling and Working With Other UJAM Instruments

Drop D tuning and doubling modes are included for producers who want extra weight in their guitar parts. The instrument mode adds freshly recorded samples and phrases for playing your own riffs.
