Superwave Bundle: Wavesynth and Vapor Keys for Kontakt by Karanyi Sounds

Wavesynth is a waveshaper instrument for Kontakt 6. Karanyi Sounds describes it as its most advanced instrument so far, with synth sounds for basslines, sequences, arps, cinematic textures and drones.

The instrument includes sounds from 12 classic synths, among them the Juno 106, Prophet 6 and 8, Sub37 and MS20. It offers 14 wavetable algorithms, amp and wavetable envelopes, two LFOs, a Prophet-type and a Moog-type low pass filter, and three customizable effects: dimension, tape delay and hall reverb. A master EQ, compressor and limiter complete the signal path.

The built-in randomizer, called Roll, generates new patches. The developer notes that the instrument has over 60 parameters, all MIDI-learnable, and 220+ factory and artist presets.

Vapor Keys combines a library of FM electric pianos with a set of heavily sound-designed keyboard instruments. The collection is organized into two parts: nine electric pianos and fourteen Vapor Keys patches.

The electric pianos are dry, multi-velocity sampled instruments, recorded key-to-key at 24 bit, 48 kHz. Each comes with classic presets from vintage FM gear and two effects options: a detuned chorus and a phaser. The Vapor Keys patches mix dry and wet signals from FM pianos, other synth sources and reverb units, and suit chords, arpeggios and shorter soundscapes.

Karanyi Sounds says the collection is inspired by 90s-style neo-retro production.
