Routing and Compression Control
The core of the SPC2000 is its stage routing. Two, three, or four compressors can be arranged in serial and parallel combinations, which lets you build compression chains that a single compressor cannot provide.
Each stage carries the usual controls: Output for make-up gain, Threshold, Compression ratio, Attack, and Release. The Knee and Bite controls adjust how compression begins and how it articulates, and multiple peak detection circuit types are included so you can change how the stages respond to the signal.
Multi-compressor control linking lets stages be driven together, which keeps the settings coherent when you work across several stages at once.
