Sound Design Content and Character

The library is organized around horror material. Soundiron says the sounds were created from source recordings and processed to produce creature-like, ghostly and industrial textures. The collection includes found percussion, Foley, mallet and string sources alongside ambient pads and evolving drones built from the same material.

The Sick 8 volume adds a set of gore and splatter effects, including splashes, drips, bone crunches and flesh rips. Each of these is captured both up close and from an overhead room position, giving you two perspectives for matching different camera angles and cut scenes. Sick 8 is included only with the Sick Ultimate bundle.

Kontakt Instruments, Controls and Effects

Sick Ultimate ships with 169 Kontakt .nki instrument presets built on 24 bit / 48 kHz uncompressed PCM WAV samples. The multi-layer interface gives you LFO, filter, glide and arpeggiator controls, so you can shape a patch without leaving the instrument.

An included FX rack adds convolution reverb with custom rooms, halls, chambers and FX environments. These tools let you place sounds in a space or push them into effects-driven textures.
