How pure:level stabilizes levels
The plugin analyzes the input signal and applies dynamic level riding to compensate for short-term fluctuations. Rather than simply squashing peaks, it holds the signal around its natural level, which helps the track sit in the mix without an obvious pumping or compressed character.
Another design choice separates leveling from placement. Level stabilization happens first, and the target control then moves the balanced signal to the position you want. Because the dynamics stay untouched when you adjust the target, you can reposition a part without reworking how it was leveled.
