Time Stretching and Pitch Shifting Controls

The time and pitch functions each offer three panels. The simpler panels use fixed ratios, while the more advanced ones let tempo and pitch change over the length of a clip.

Time can be set by tempo change, length change, target length or target BPM. Pitch can be set by frequency change or by semitone shift. The tempo and pitch panels can be combined in any pairing.

You can also warp timing by placing markers in the audio and moving them, which is useful for aligning a performance to a grid. Changes can be previewed in real time before you commit to processing.

Pro Tools Workflow and Requirements

Pitch 'N Time Pro integrates with the Pro Tools time trimmer tool, so selections can be processed directly in the editing workflow. The plugin is described as compatible only with Pro Tools.
