Saturation, EQ and Compression Character
Each module offers its own saturation voicing. One is a crisp, harmonic saturation with Drive and Density controls that change how the saturation responds to the signal. The other is a rounded, thicker saturation with a Dark setting that adds weight to the low end and a Red setting that enhances the top-end harmonics.
The compression options differ as well. One module uses a bus compressor with a reputation for punch and glue, while the other uses an optical compressor with adjustable recovery speed and a Hi-Ratio mode for heavier compression. Both modules include a two-band EQ, with one described as mastering grade for adding low-end weight and presence and air, and the other a two-band shelf EQ for smooth tonal shaping.
