Distinct Pro: Saturation and Distortion Plugin by Kiive Audio

The core of Distinct Pro is its Drive section, which combines advanced harmonic distortion and saturation controls. According to Kiive Audio, the plugin was rebuilt from the ground up with new saturation and tone shaping modules rather than carried over from the original.

The developer says the design covers both ends of the range. Light settings can add subtle harmonics, while heavier settings can push the signal into a more aggressive distortion. This makes it a candidate for use on individual sources as well as on a full mix bus, depending on how hard you drive it.

Distinct Pro includes an extensive Dynamic (DYN) section for detailed compression management. Used together with the Drive section, it gives you control over how the plugin reshapes transients and saturation.

The DYN section is the main way to manage the level and dynamic behavior of the signal after distortion. For sound design, this lets you shape how a sound attacks and sustains as you add grit, rather than treating saturation and dynamics as separate steps.
