01Overview

S-Quick Strip is built for fast channel processing. Insert it on any track and work through a signal path that covers polarity, saturation, a highpass filter, two-band EQ, compression and transient shaping. Each module is kept deliberately simple, with few controls and fixed settings where a full parameter set would add little. It runs as VST2, AU and AAX on Windows and macOS, and the developer includes presets from several working producers.

Sound and Processing Character

The Input section offers two saturation circuits. The subtle setting keeps the color light, while the dense setting adds heavier saturation with a slightly brighter tone. A Gain knob sets the drive amount, and a separate saturation mix knob blends wet and dry signal.

The compressor uses fixed attack and release times of 5 ms and 300 ms at a 4:1 ratio. A single threshold knob controls how much compression is applied, and auto makeup gain compensates for level loss at extreme settings. The transient designer, also a single knob, emphasizes attacks when turned clockwise and softens them when turned counterclockwise.

EQ, Sidechain and Routing Controls

The EQ section has two bands. The high band switches between a bell at 2 kHz and a shelf at 8 kHz. The low band switches between a bell at 200 Hz and a shelf at 120 Hz. Each band has one gain knob.

A compressor sidechain option lets low end pass through the compressor, which helps keep bass weight when compressing the rest of the signal. Input and output gain knobs handle level staging across the chain.
