Saturation adds higher harmonics to a signal, which is why it is so widely used to add warmth and presence. On a simple sine wave the result is clean. On dense material such as full mixes, drums or synth stacks, conventional saturation can also generate unpleasant, inharmonic content. MeldaProduction says MPolySaturator is designed to create the harmonics you want while keeping that unwanted dirt out.

The plugin is a good fit for producers who want to thicken or color complex sources without the grit that makes heavy distortion hard to control.

Static saturation can sound flat, so MPolySaturator lets you assign modulators to harmonic levels. The plugin includes four modulators, which can follow the input level, change harmonics randomly and more. Four multiparameters give you a way to control several settings at once, and smart randomisation helps you find new starting points.

For setup, the plugin offers automatic gain compensation to keep level changes in check, a safety limiter, and MIDI learn for mapping controllers. A visualisation engine with classic meters and time graphs shows what the processing is doing.

MPolySaturator supports M/S processing, single-channel operation and surround processing of up to 8 channels. Global preset management and online preset exchange help you organize and share settings, and the interface can be styled and resized.

The plugin is 64-bit with an unlimited sampling rate and is described as optimized for newer AVX-capable processors.
