Moogerfooger MF-105S MuRF: Multiple Resonant Filter Plugin by Moog

The MF-105S is a re-creation of the MF-105 hardware, which Bob Moog and his engineering team designed as a direct descendant of the original Moog modular synthesizers. The eight filters can be set to a bass or midrange response, giving you two distinct tonal starting points.

Moog says the plugin captures both the distinctive sound of the original and the way its parameters interact. Because the filters respond to one another, small adjustments can shift the overall character of a sound in ways that feel musical rather than purely technical.

The animation module is the feature that sets the MuRF apart from a conventional filter bank. It generates pre-programmed sequences of envelopes that modulate the levels of the eight filters, so the sound moves on its own once it is running.

The plugin adds stereo functionality, CV interconnectivity, the ability to run multiple instances, and presets. Parameters can be automated in your DAW, and presets can be saved and managed for recall across sessions.
