Modulation and Sequencing for Filter Movement
MetaFilter's modulation section lets you assign multiple sources to cutoff, resonance and delay time. The envelope follower responds to the input signal, or to an external sidechain, so the filter can open and close in time with the audio. The LFO offers five waveforms, including random, for sweeps and wobbles.
The sequencer runs from 1 to 16 steps and provides variable level, swing and sync controls. Sequenced resonance is useful for rhythmic filter patterns on synths and drum loops, while the LFO suits slower, more continuous movement.
