MDistortionMB: Multiband Distortion Plugin by MeldaProduction Free Download

Rather than modeling one specific amplifier, MDistortionMB uses a generalized amp simulation that can cover a range of amp styles. It ships with 12 predefined sounds organized by style, such as metal or rock, which gives you a starting point before you shape the tone yourself.

For sounds that go beyond amp emulation, the plugin includes five purely digital distortion algorithms. These can be combined with the amp simulation, so you can build anything from a clean-leaning drive to a dense, heavily saturated tone.

The plugin offers two interfaces. The default view has a few predefined modes and only a handful of controls, so you can choose a sound and adjust it with a few knobs. An advanced mode exposes the full feature set.

Four global modulators can each act as an LFO, envelope follower, MIDI or audio triggered ADSR, or pitch detector, and they can modulate any parameter, including other modulators. Oscillators and modulators can sync to host tempo, and any parameter can be mapped to a MIDI controller with MIDI learn. Up to 1x to 16x up-sampling is available to reduce aliasing.
