Sound, Movement and Human Feel
Native Instruments says the performances were recorded with organic variation in mind. Random swells, unexpected tremolos and stray harmonics are meant to create natural movement at the performance level rather than a static, looped sound.
The library also uses multi-mic recording. According to the developer, this lets each instrument be staged within a multi-dimensional space, which adds a sense of depth and realism to mixes.
The instruments themselves are the focus. Rather than presenting one core sound, Lores leans on contrasting timbres, from wind instruments to chordophones, so you can build textures that feel unusual.
