01Overview

Lifeline Dirt is an effects plugin built around saturation. Its Tube and Tape modes add warmth, glue and fullness, while Rectify and Fuzz push the signal into aggressive, harmonically rich distortion. Saturation Algorithms and Sound Character

Lifeline Dirt includes four saturation and distortion algorithms. Tube provides smooth saturation for all-around analogue-style warmth, and increasing the drive adds heavier distortion. Tape adds subtle warmth, glue and fullness, with more drive adding extra punch.

Rectify introduces extra harmonics and fuzz one octave above the incoming signal. Fuzz is a heavy guitar fuzz designed for extreme harmonic overtones. Together they cover everything from delicate texture to aggressive overdrive on vocals, guitars, basses, synths and drums.

Controls and Multiband Processing

The Drive, Smooth and Tone controls set the intensity and smoothness of each effect. Drive can be used with multiband processing, and a Frequency Smoothing and Dynamics Preservation control shapes how the effect behaves across the frequency range.
