New Scales, Scenes and Generation Modes

The update adds eight scenes, so you can store different variations and song parts within a single preset. Scale support has been expanded with 22 additional scales, including Spanish, Arabic and Ryukyu options, and melodies can be paired with chord progressions for each scale.

Two new generation modes arrive with this version: Drums, for drum lines across styles and complexities, and Pad 2, which combines pad and chord modes for fuller sounds. New Sustain and Chord Helper parameters give additional control.

Workflow, MIDI Editing and Routing

An onboard piano-roll editor lets you move, copy, delete and change the velocity of notes before the output leaves the plugin. You can save the result as a MIDI file, drag and drop it into your DAW, or save each track separately.

Multi-channel routing sends MIDI from InstaComposer into your own VST instruments, so all six tracks can be previewed without leaving the plugin.
