Indian Rhythms and Scales in Kontakt

India's onboard groove player plays rhythmic cycles, known as talas, which are irregular time signatures used in Indian music. You can use these cycles with the instruments in India, or drag and drop the included MIDI files onto any software instrument in your project.

The scales, known as ragas, can be mapped to your keyboard in several ways and adjusted to suit the mood you want. The developer describes the library as built for instant composition.

Mixing and Performance Controls

The Kontakt interface includes a mixer and effects sections for adjusting the level of each instrument and the space around it in your mix. Groove, Feel and Intensity controls change rhythmic precision, depth and dynamics. Snapshots offer quick variations of each instrument's performance.

With a KOMPLETE KONTROL S-Series keyboard, Native Browser lists your presets, Native Map assigns instrument parameters to the display knobs, and Light Guide shows melodic ornamentations and scale notes.
