Sound Character and Engine Controls
The core sound starts from a piano that has been run through granular and bitcrusher engines. The result is a glassy, fragmented texture that drifts rather than sits still.
The engine lets you control the complexity of the main sound, which shifts the balance between a recognizable piano-derived tone and a more scattered, abstract shimmer. A lowpass filter shapes the top end, and a crushed character can be added for grit.
For added movement, you can enable a slow attack, distortion, delay and reverb. These options let you move the instrument from soft, washed-out pads toward more aggressive or spacious textures.
