Sound Engines and Sample Analysis
Flesh works from your samples rather than from a conventional oscillator bank. The Sample Engine changes the character of the source itself, for example by shortening it to make it more percussive or adding modulation to static sounds.
The Monosynth Engine rebuilds its wavetables from your sample to produce a monophonic sequence or lead. The Polysynth Engine is a resonating granular synth that turns the input into chords for a harmonic foundation, and its voices can be stacked for a large monophonic line. The Subsynth Engine is a band-limited sub generator that follows the pitch of either the monosynth or the polysynth.
The Effects Section is a dub delay that can be modulated by curves extracted from your samples.
