FireSnareVerb: Parallel Snare Reverb Plugin by United Plugins

FireSnareVerb is meant to sit on a parallel bus. You send the snare mics through its processing core while the original dry transient stays unaffected in the mix. This keeps the attack of the drum clear while the spatial effect fills in behind it.

The plugin offers 18 algorithms across six categories. The developer groups them under names such as Big, Meaty, Phat, Roomy, Ringy and Early reflections. These cover a range of spaces, from tight room-style thumps to larger, more aggressive cracks.

The central engine matrix lets you blend up to six algorithms at once. Each engine has three versions, A, B and C, so you can combine different spatial characters into one reverb.

The Warmth module adds analogue-style saturation to the reverb tail, and an internal compressor adds more aggressive shaping. The integrated EQ includes a Side High-Pass filter to keep low-end thump centred, plus adjustable Mid and Treble bands with frequency sweeping. Four predefined variations give you a starting point, and a smart toggle system lets you choose which custom reverb stays editable.
