Evolve Air Lite focuses on ambience. Its sounds draw on breathy textures, wind instruments, airy vocals, soft woodwinds, filtered noise and evolving pads. Quad-Layer Engine and Sound Sources

Each of the four layers can hold either a sample-based instrument or a synth oscillator. The sample library includes 125 sources across chords, hits and percussive material, instruments, multisamples, synths, textures and vocals.

Sample layers offer play direction, tone and keytracking controls. Synth layers offer an oscillator shape slider with sine, triangle, saw, square and pulse shapes, plus unison and detune. Every layer has pitch, fine tuning, velocity sensitivity, panning and volume controls.

The XY Pad works in two modes. Sounds Mode morphs between the four sources, and FX Mode modulates any available instrument parameter.

Macro Effects for Texture and Space

Four macro effects shape the output. Mist adds noise for grain and texture. Drift applies two gently oscillating pitch modulation layers for slow, floating movement. Frost adds a shimmering delay that the developer says freezes the audio in time. Cloud places the sound in a long, low-passed reverb that softens the highs.

Macro routing can be set to pre or post FX, and the randomise button can roll new sound sources, parameters and effects in one step for fast starting points.
