01Overview

Bloom Vocal Aether Lite is built around triggering rather than browsing. Its 14 sample keys span two octaves, and white and black notes do different jobs: white notes play samples and loops, while black notes change playback speed and tuning and trigger custom sequences and effect modulation. The instrument ships with 56 vocal phrases in four sample banks, and the developer says its samples are engineered to sound good out of the box. This Lite edition is a reduced version of the full Bloom Vocal Aether.

Playable Vocal Phrases and Modifiers

Bloom Vocal Aether Lite lets you audition vocal material by playing it. Samples sync to the host BPM and can be set to a chosen key, so phrases stay in time and in tune with your project.

Five factory modifiers (Half-time, Double-Time, Reverse, Octave Down and Octave Up) change how a phrase plays back. Five custom modifiers are also available. Five phrase keys, A to E, trigger phrases and can also trigger effect modulation.

Four macros labeled Warmer, Speaker, Doubler and Ethereal control a chain of effects in one move.

Effects and Presets

The instrument's effects include Excite Audio's proprietary Delay, Reverb and Modulation algorithms, plus global hi-cut and lo-cut filters. Five main FX parameters (Reverb, Delay, Modulation, Lo-Cut and Hi-Cut) give direct control over the processing.

The 75 presets are each built from a unique combination of samples, phrases and effect settings, which gives a wide range of starting points for hooks, textures and breathy pads.
