01Overview

Electrum is a guitar processing plugin built around one window. Its amp, cabinet, pedal, reverb and delay modules all sit on the same screen, so you can move from an idea to a usable tone without digging through menus. The developer positions it for any electric guitar style, from jazz to modern metal. Amp, Cabinet and Pedal Modules

Electrum includes five guitar amps with different levels of gain and distortion. They share common controls, so switching between them keeps the setup simple.

The cabinet section offers 16 cabinet simulation types combined with 21 alterations, for more than 300 models. Users can add resonance and ambience to each cabinet. United Plugins also includes three distortion pedals that share the same control layout as the amps.

The modulation section merges chorus, flanger, phaser, tremolo and sweeper into one module, so effects can be blended in combinations.

Reverb, Delay and Routing Options

The reverb section includes 18 algorithms, among them hall, room, plate, cathedral, shimmer and ethereal types. Each includes high and low damping and ducking controls.

The delay is a double-tap design with sync, modulation and saturation. The EQ is a seven-band unit with high-pass and low-pass filters, plus a separate equalizer that the developer describes as going further than a standard seven-band pedal.

Modules can be reordered, so reverb can feed a flanger or distortion can sit after the amp.
